After completing a modern renovation of our house we wanted something to give the study some character from its plain look. My husband loves cars but I didn’t want to take away from the styling of our home; that’s when we decided to talk to Jo about a custom piece. We love this painting, it’s the best of both for us, cars and elegance. After a year or so of Zoom meetings, it’s been the centre of plenty of compliments.

I am lucky enough to own three of Joanna Greenwood’s pieces, a series of still-life lotus pods. Joanna’s ability to translate reality onto paper is a rare talent.

The reason I was drawn to these works, in particular, was Joanna’s bold use of colour which brought a unique interpretation of a still life. I absolutely love them and show them off to friends and family who are inevitably envious of my purchase.

Joanna was very responsive and friendly, a real joy to deal with.

I’m currently renovating my house, but when I finish I will be purchasing more of Joanna’s work, I recommend you do the same!

I first saw Joanna's artwork when she illustrated the children's book, "The Dragonfly who Lost A Wing But Could Still Fly." I was immediately drawn to her amazing use of colour and her unique creatures, all of whom were endowed with personality, empathy and humour. I commissioned a watercolour of an imaginary mythical bird, and I could not have been more delighted with Joanna's creative inspiration.

In her current digital catalogue, Joanna continues to showcase her unique style. Her "En Pointe" series demonstrates Joanna's ink drawing skills in bringing ballet shoes to life, each one telling its own story. Set on a background of watercolour and phonebook paper, and with pastel highlights, these artworks take on both a human and ethereal quality, so light is Joanna's touch.

I also love Joanna's Floral series. Her pastel and ink compositions on watercolour and handmade paper are stunning. Vibrant colours and textures draw the eye back again and again, each time seeing something new.

I asked Jo if she could draw and paint my boss’ treasured pug dogs as a gift to her. To say the final outcome was amazing is an understatement. This girl has talent! My boss cried when we gave her the gift. Her attention to detail is phenomenal- the pugs looked exactly as they do in real life and she also managed to capture their little personalities through the detailing. So impressive!! Thanks Jo.

Our large entrance wall was just a huge vacant space, after having a couple of smaller pieces now done for our home and following Jo’s Instagram, we knew we wanted her to create something special for this space. We are so happy with this piece, it’s bright, the textures and depth are amazing, it really pops and brings the whole area to life!

I commissioned Jo to do a drawing of a dog I used to know. Before I knew it she had brought Gypsie to life on the page. It honestly moved me when I saw the finished drawing. She has such a gift!

Not only is she lovely and easy to deal with, she also provides excellent advice on framing so that the final product on the wall is a stunning keepsake that will be cherished forever.

Could not recommend her highly enough... Thank you!

My family nickname is ‘Otter’ as I’ve always loved them and been fascinated by their playful and curious nature. It was a delightful surprise when my daughter gave me an original watercolour of an otter family by Jo Greenwood. It is beautiful and has such fine detail, and Jo has captured perfectly the close bond and play otters are known for. The artwork is now amongst my most treasured possessions, and it will soon be framed and hanging on display for all to see.

I wanted to give my mum something very special that also represented the close and loving relationship my sister, brother, and I all share with her. She loves art and nature, otters are her favourites, and when I saw Jo’s original works - in particular, Bob the Whale - I knew she was the artist to bring the idea to life. Dealing with Jo was wonderful and highly collaborative. From the seed of the idea, the emotion and tone of the piece, the style and colour, and drafts through to the final delivery, Jo took great care and time to create a unique piece that expressed the idea beautifully. Honestly, it blew us all away. I never imagined just how detailed and stunning it would be or the joy it would bring mum. I plan on commissioning Jo to create truly memorable gifts for loved ones for many years to come.

Jo Greenwood created the most beautiful drawings to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday.

I went to Jo with a half-baked idea about capturing him through the ages and submitted some photos for her consideration. Jo selected the best ones and managed perfectly to illustrate my Dad- right down to the dimples and smile to the glint in his eye.

We love our illustrations, and will treasure them always!
